TRICIA

I am a student of life who, like you, is on a continuous journey to discover more about myself and my world, and develop a Kinder Approach to both.

I’ve called the Bay Area home most of my life, and for the past 27 years have planted roots and raised my family in Danville, CA.

Being a multicultural person with  extensive training and experience, I have a unique understanding into the ebbs and flows of living in an area as richly diverse as the Bay Area.

Additionally, I understand the challenges and joys that can come from being in multiple roles – spouse, parent, business owner, student, friend – and how important it is to have therapeutic support in addition to daily practices and tools to rely upon for resourcing and balance.

My journey into the field of psychology took me to John F. Kennedy University, where I earned my B.A. degree in Liberal Arts, and my M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Holistic Studies.

As a therapist in the humanistic field, I have a diverse holistic background in many different techniques and modalities, including mind (cognitive behavior), body (somatic) and spirit (transpersonal), with specialized training in the following areas:

Certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

Mindfulness

Somatic Therapy

Expressive Arts

Cognitive Behavior Therapy

EMDR

(Level I and Level II Certificate)

In addition to my therapy practice, I spent several years as a Behavioral Mental Health Consultant in a school setting developing and implementing programs that focused on positive behaviors, self-awareness, self-esteem, and inner resourcing for students, parents, caregivers, teachers and administrators.

I look forward to meeting you on this journey.
